  • Safety:

Safety is the top priority. U-Haul trucks have engineered safety devices in place to secure your belongings during transit. Trucks 15’ and bigger have seatbelts for three. Patented mirrors and large cabs allow drivers to be comfortable while providing better visibility when driving.

  • Insurance:

U-Haul provides insurance for damages rendered to rented equipment. The insurance plans fall under four types:

  2. Safemove Plus: Includes overhead damage and fire protection, supplement liability coverage, Exclusion free coverage, and all Safemove protection. 
  3. Safe to: Damage waiver, Towed property protection, medical/ life protection
  4. Safe trip: Provides all kinds of roadside assistance, including jump start, lock-out service, 

lost keys, fuel service, stuck vehicle, and trailer hook-up problems.

U-Haul Moving rates

To get an estimated moving rate, visit the platform to fill out a questionnaire. However, local moving rental trucks are affordable, starting at a flat rate of $19. 95. Large moving trucks have an additional cost of $15 to $30 daily.

Other factors that determine and influence total cost are fuel costs, mileage, taxes, and environmental cost, depending on your location and destination.
